Welcomed and cooperated with SRA software company, Japan
On the afternoon of September 28, 2023, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU), The University of Danang had a meeting with SRA Software Company (SRA), Japan to strengthen the cooperation in training on data and the recruitment for high-quality human resources.
Overview of the meeting
The meeting welcomed Mr. Hirata Junji – General Director, Mr. Murakami Kazuhiko – Head of Global Business Development, Mr. Pham Manh Lan – General Director of NAL Holdings, Mr. Le Hoang Nam – CEO of NAL Viet Nam, Mr. Tran Nhu Hoai – CEO of NALS. On the VKU side, the meeting welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap – VKU’s Rector, along with leaders of Departments, Faculties, and Centers of the university.

Chairing the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap was pleased to welcome SRA company leaders to visit and work at VKU. The rector shared that VKU always clearly defines its mission and responsibilities in training, providing high-quality human resources, scientific research, knowledge and technology transfer, with the vision of becoming the country’s leading university with the desire to reach an international level in the fields of training and research with an advanced administration model, a modern and smart university. With the strength of being a university specializing in Information Technology with more than 6,000 students and 1,500 targeted enrollments every year. This is a high-quality information technology human resource meeting current human resource demands. At the present, VKU has been cooperating with many Japanese partners to organize training courses in Information Technology enhancing Japanese language, in which the Information Technology Engineering classes taught by Japanese in cooperation with NiX Education have achieved many results becoming an effective training cooperation model that can be replicated in the future.

At the meeting, Mr. Hirata Junji – General Director of SRA thanked the university’s leaders for the warm welcome and also introduced SRA as a company established in 1967 with the headquarter in Tokyo, Japan. With a current workforce of nearly 900 members working in consulting, building hardware and software systems in many fields such as finance, education, infrastructure and other support services. With the high demand for information technology human resources specializing in databases, SRA finds that VKU is able to meet the needs for human resources and wishes to cooperate with VKU to train and nurture high – quality human resources for databases in the near future.
At the end of the meeting, the University’s Leaders expressed their appreciation and the readiness to expand the cooperation in order to create the most favorable conditions for SRA to approach, direct and introduce job opportunities to students.
