Additionally, VKU is the only university in the Central Highlands region with significant investment and support from both Vietnamese and Korean governments. Through the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), VKU receives substantial support in terms of infrastructure, facilities, and equipment with comprehensive investment. This is accompanied by advanced training programs from Korea and a team of high-quality lecturers trained systematically from advanced countries worldwide. In 2023, VKU had one assistant professor who received the GKS scholarship from the Korean government and is currently studying at Kyung Hee University. It is expected that in 2024, three more VKU students will apply for the GKS scholarship. During this working session, VKU expressed the hope that KEC would be interested in supporting connections with universities in Korea for student exchanges through 2+2 training programs, semester exchange programs, and enhancing the integration of the Korean language into VKU’s academic programs.
