In the context of international integration and enhancing educational quality, the opportunity for students to participate in internships and learn at prestigious foreign universities has become one of the important criteria to assess their competence and comprehensive development. The Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, University of Danang (UD-VKU), is honored to have six outstanding students selected for an internship program at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand. This is a great opportunity for VKU students to access an advanced learning and research environment, thereby developing their skills and professional knowledge.
06 VKU Students selected for an internship at KMUTNB, Thailand
The internship program at KMUTNB will last for two months (from July 1 to August 31, 2024). VKU students will have chances to work with leading professors and researchers in Thailand, participate in real-world research projects, and enhance their practical working knowledge during the internship.
KMUTNB is renowned for its training and research programs in information technology, engineering, technology, and tourism. Joining the internship here will help VKU students not only enhance their professional knowledge but also expand their network and gain experience from international colleagues.
The 06 students selected for this internship program are outstanding individuals from the Global Engineer in Information Technology program and Artificial Intelligence, with excellent academic achievements, good English communication skills, and active participation in extracurricular activities. They went through a rigorous selection process, including interviews and evaluations by VKU and KMUTNB professors.

Participants in the program are supported by KMUTNB with a stipend of 10,000 THB/month (~7 million VND/month), free accommodation at the dormitory, and travel expenses. VKU also directly sponsors each student with 468.5 USD (~12 million VND) from the ODA funds provided by the Korean Government within the framework of the project “Enhancing the capacity of education, training, management, and research of the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology for the period 2022-2027”, covering round-trip airfare, visa application fees, insurance, and the remaining living expenses.
