Paper Plate Gourmet : Easy Butternut Squash

This was a first for me – Butternut Squash sounds so fancy.  Truth be told, I thought I was buying a spaghetti squash… Either way, so easy & delicious…. (Ignore the ham…. that will be posted later in the week)

  • Butternut Squash
  • Brown Sugar
  • Butter
  1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees
  2. Cut the squash in half (this was the toughest part of this meal)
  3. Scoop out the seeds
  4. Put on a baking sheet flesh side up
  5. Put in the oven, bake for a half hour
  6. Wait the half hour…..
  7. Take out of the oven, rub butter all over the top of the squash
  8. Rub brown sugar all over the top of the squash
  9. Put it back into the oven for around 20 minutes or until it is ‘fork tender’
