Paper Plate Gourmet : Chicken Cordon Dizee

Looks & sounds fancy- totally not.  I called it Chicken Cordon Dizee because I used American Cheese instead of Swiss.  Equally Delicious.

For each breast you will need:

  • Thin Chicken Breast
  • Slice of Ham (I like honey ham)
  • Slice of American Cheese
  • 1 Egg & a splash of milk
  • Bread Crumbs
  1. Heat the oven to 375
  2. Lay chicken breast flat
  3. Layer with 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese
  4. Roll ‘em up!
  5. Mix the egg & milk, dip that chickeny goodness
  6. Cover it in bread crumbs
  7. Spritz it with cooking spray/oil
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes
  9. Feel fancy – maybe serve it on a real plate….
3 for the chicken, 2 for the cheese, 1 for the ham, 1 for the egg wash/bread crumbsTotal : 7 points +
