End of the Month Weigh In : Week 4 / Craig Diet Week 2

Well, once again, success with Craig Diet.  I wasn’t as strict with my lunches, and I tried hard to cut down on crap.   In fact, it took me a full week to finish off a sleeve of Oreos. (it usually only takes 18 minutes…. )

So, all in all, I was down 1.6.  Pretty happy, I will say.

Now, I didn’t complete my 10 pound challenge, but I am still down overall.

I have decided that October’s Weight Loss Challenge will be a more doable 5 pounds.  For every pound I lose after that, I am going to buy myself a new article of clothing (that isn’t socks)…

Weight Watchers : Tip of the Week 9/30/2011

As evidenced by my Chicken & Broccoli exercise, when starting out you should measure what you eat.

In my incredibly unscientific poll, you will calculate your food wrong 7 times out of 10.  Do your waist a favor & measure your food…

Portion Patrol : Chicken & Broccoli (7 Points +)

I decided to take out my measuring cup this weekend & actually measured what 1 cup of Chicken & Broccoli looks like… And it was WAY more than I would usually eat!

Note to Self : Buy a set of measuring cups to keep in my pocketbook… just kidding!! (mostly, I could probably hide a 1/2 cup scoop in there….)

Virtual Household Binder : Addresses

Boo Dizee!!!! I already missed a week in my intriguing new series ’Virtual Household Binder Mission’. I am sure you guys were waiting for the next exciting addition…. :)

I set up this address book tab in excel.  The beauty of the speadsheet is the ‘autofilter’.  <insert colloective ahhhhhhhh>

I added all my contacts to this one sheet.  When I need to print out Birthday Invitations or Christmas Card Lists – BOOM.  My labels are printed before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

I use the Mail Merge column to sort – Anything with an X will show when I use my filter.
